Look who’s four months!
We had a super nice, relaxing Christmas! Ironically, this year’s Christmas was exactly what I was craving last year when I was feeling really rotten in my first trimester of pregnancy: staying in pajamas all day, napping, not really doing anything or going anywhere. Ahhh.
We did make it to church on Christmas Eve. Here we are afterwards:
We let Cody have a go at opening some presents, helping him grab and pull the paper, etc. I think he had more fun than he lets on in this clip:
Cody has been sleeping very well at night, which naturally means he sleeps well during the day(one of nature’s cruel or beautiful Catch-22s, depending on which side your baby is that week) which means the return of some energy for creativity for Mama! I enjoyed making this cheese ball for a little gathering with Caleb’s training class:
And I had some fun wrapping presents with craft paper, recycled greeting cards, glitter, oil pastel rubs, and this string and circle idea I adapted from Real Simple. 😀
And I attempted to take some “arty” photos of Caleb and Cody for fun. 🙂
We’ve found the secret to making Cody smile/laugh for photos or for fun is to wave his arms around. Anyone else ever had that work with your baby?
