Do as the Texans Do

Last post and pictures from Texas!

We’ve taken a little time to do some things we won’t be doing in Oklahoma:

Saturday we took a little half-day trip to SeaWorld.  We didn’t get many pictures, but if we had they would’ve been similar to these, except this location does not yet have sea lions.  We splashed around the water park for a bit, watched the “Shamu” show(Cody was engrossed with a plastic spoon the whole time), Caleb rode a roller coaster, we looked at penguins, and watched the dolphin/beluga/diver show.

Sunday we went on a little bluebonnet patch hunt to take bluebonnet pictures, a tradition I learned from my AF friends from Texas.  The bluebonnet is the Texas state flower.

Those are probably the last pictures and words for the blog from Texas, y’all!

  1. Tara, let me just say a few things of utmost importance:
    1. Cody sitting among the bluebonnet flowers is one of the cutest things I’ve seen all day (which I guess isn’t too hard on a College campus… :p, but STILL)
    2. You are SO beautiful and I want to be like you when I grow up in so many ways 🙂
    Anyways… that’s all 🙂

  2. That is so sweet, Julie, thank you, your comment made my day! I will strive to be a good role model. And you are already so grown up in so many ways!

  3. The girls’ school in CA took a field trip to SeaWorld when we lived there. Great pictures in the bluebonnets. Looks like a picture I’ve seen in Country Magazine!

  4. Mom/Mary

Glad y’all got to enjoy a little of Sea World! Who is that handsome man sporting the ‘stache? Cody in the blue bonnets is a PRIZE WINNER:) Your picture, Tara, shows that motherhood definitely agrees with you. Safe travels!
