St. Louis Reunion
Just yesterday we returned from the annual reunion of Caleb’s side of the family! We had a great time visiting with everyone, and had a handful of fun excursions. My personal highlight, which is not pictured, was seeing the Cardinals beat the Dodgers with a 16th inning walk off home run. In the future, I’d prefer for them to win in 2 or 3 hours instead of 5.5, but a win is a win and it was great to see them play in person and up close! Also not pictured were a couple game sessions, which were lots of fun. Other notable moments included:
Cody got quite a thrill from the hotel phones–poor kid’s never had access to a landline before…
Cody really enjoyed brushing the goats in the goat yard.
I’m not sure why, but this is one of my favorite photos from the whole trip. I guess I like silhouettes.
Proof I was there and not taking pictures the whole time. “Sea lion says, ‘arr arr arr!'”
These orangutans were playing under this sheet for a while(not a euphemism) and then once we were ready to leave they emerged so we had to wheel Cody back for another picture!
Caleb with brother Josiah and our niece/Cody’s cousin Sophia.
Ashley, Josiah, and Sophia.
Sophia was very good for the camera 🙂
Thanks for Ashley for reminding me and allowing me to get in a picture with my boys 🙂
In the pool!
We were really getting into the splashing!
Daddy and little sea monster
Grandparents with Uncle Bob, Aunt Kim, and Aunt Ruth
At the acclaimed Ted Drewes
Cody enjoyed a couple bites of Reeses Concrete…and then a couple more while I took some pictures
Reading “The Little House” before bed–one of my favorites from childhood. Cody likes all the transportation and construction vehicles.
